Short answer

Online care can be real care

A sound service tells you the name of the clinician, meaning the licensed doctor or other licensed prescriber in charge of your care. It also checks where you are, asks enough to assess you and explains which pharmacy will send any medicine.

Care given by telehealth must meet the bar a face-to-face appointment would. The state medical boards, which license doctors and can discipline them, hold prescribers to that standard. In practice it means the prescriber must learn enough about you and take the same care as at a face-to-face visit; if a screen visit cannot manage that, this is the wrong route for the care.
